Current Situation in Tigray
There are numerous reports of violations of international humanitarian law, constituting war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Eritrean and Ethiopian forces: the destruction and looting of private and public sector infrastructure, including education and healthcare facilities; mass atrocities, which amount to ethnic cleansing; indiscriminate shelling and use of chemical weapons on civilians; wide-spread gender and sexual based violence; and weaponized starvation that has resulted in 90% of Tigray population requiring emergency food aid. In response to this, HPN4Tigray is asking you to join us in delivering the following demands to your representatives.

Our Demands
- Urgent withdrawal of Eritrean and Ethiopian troops, as well as other regional militia groups operating in Tigray. Their withdrawal will ease the distribution of aid throughout the region.
- Humanitarian corridor: civilians seeking protection and safety should be allowed to flee, both within Ethiopia and into neighboring countries.
- With rampant rape and massive atrocities against civilians, we are pressuring world leaders, NGOs, the U.S. Senate and House of Representative to urge the international Human Rights Committee to investigate war crimes committed in Tigray.
